Mommy was excited when she heard that, because we have been planning to take Andrea to the mall to see Santa, but it just hasn't worked out. So, it was great that Santa stopped by TLC to see the little ones!
What did Andrea think of Santa? Well, her teachers told me that Andrea was okay when she was first put on his lap. She just went kind of quiet and serious. Then, just as they were about to take her picture, the bottom lip started to wobble, and she got a bit teary-eyed:
I'd say that's a typical reaction for a 16-month-old. :))
Santa gave Andrea a sparkly board book about glitter-bugs, which had her name on it. The teachers at the daycare gave Andrea a wooden animal puzzle. They also had their Christmas lunch today--turkey with all the fixings. Apparently, Andrea enjoyed that very much!(Unfortunately, it came back to haunt her tonight--she had a very sore tummy, and a few full diapers! Poor baby!)
