We celebrated Daddy's 30th birthday with family and friends on Saturday evening. His actual birthday was on Sunday, but many people (including us) have their family Thanksgiving gatherings on the Sunday, so we set up his party for Saturday instead. It worked out nicely that Daddy's birthday was on our (Canadian) Thanksgiving weekend, because some of our friends from out of town were able to attend, too.
