Milk Monster

She has small, red plastic cups that she likes to drink her milk out of. She was doing really well before . . . we had to hold the cup, but she was sipping very nicely.

This weekend, she started up with some irritating behaviours in terms of the milk cup. Now she bites the lip of the cup, and won't let go of it. She tries to slurp the milk up at the edge of the cup, like it's a bottle. She sticks her fist into the cup, and swishes her hand around in the milk. On Sunday, she shoved her hand in, swirled it around, pulled it out, and licked off the milk, like a cat! (Okay, that was funny. But I didn't let her know that.) She takes huge gulps, and then coughs, so it splatters all over her tray. Then she spreads it around her tray with her fingers (as in the image above).

What am I going to do with this child? Ack! ;P
